BDS Struts
The struts are the basic building block of the BDS. Each strut is manufactured using layers of rugged fiberglass. The strut measures 24" wide x 36" high x 8’ long and weighs 140 lbs. For added strength, each strut is closed on one end. When nested in place, this design provides a solid cross-wall every 8 feet. Each strut is indented on one end to allow nesting and pinning to the next strut. The strut has a 3" base flange on each wall which provides wall stability and increased strength. Heavy duty 18" steel stakes are driven into the ground through steel brackets built into each strut. Each BDS includes 4 corner attachments.
Steel cable supports
Each strut is connected to the opposite side with plastic covered steel cables. These cables provide the necessary bracing in case of a catastrophic failure.
Berm Liner
The BDS liner can be a standard fuel Berm Liner Assembly to match the bladder tank size, or can be custom fabricated to meet a specific size configuration. The Berm Liner Assembly has optional drains, hoses and valves for evacuating liquid accumulation.
